Euro 2016: England v Russia, Sat 11th June, 8pm

So lots of good players but not team players,No real leader calling the shots and holding them together.

No that's rivalry. Are you new to football and the United Kingdom in general?

Can I point you in the direction of from the Statute of Rhuddlan to the Laws in Wales Acts 1283 – 1542 for a bit of background reading ;)

You want me to read about Wales 800 years ago because you are being a sad twat about the football?

You are a genuine psycho

Nah, England were very good and got suckered. It happens. Russia were shite, and I reckon Wales stand a good chance against them. But England should take positives from this and play the same way again. Rooney in midfield works. Finally he looks dangerous in a Finals match.

although I've been dissing England for the same old shite, we didnt lose, just made it harder for ourselves as usual

but we should get rid of milner for a start, never understood why he was in the team

same for lallanananala

English kings appointed a Council of Wales, sometimes presided over by the heir to the throne. This Council normally sat in Ludlow, now in England but at that time still part of the disputed border area in the Welsh Marches. Welsh literature, particularly poetry, continued to flourish however, with the lesser nobility now taking over from the princes as the patrons of the poets. Many consider Dafydd ap Gwilym, who flourished in the middle of the 14th century, the greatest of the Welsh poets.
Hadn't heard of him before - seems quite good. :)

Rooney was great. Vardy instead of Sterling.

Hodgson out

Kicking off in the ground now.
Half an hour ago. Russian fans broke the non-policed and inadequately stewarded segregation and charged english fans - the types with kids. They spent all year training and taking steroids for that. That bang was clearly the attack signal. After the ISIS attacks they still got all sorts in and police were nowhere.

Yup pretty much suspected that as soon as the smoke and the cracker went off.

And I'm sure this guy will find it hilarious and post loads of smilies because of 1346

just reading one of the forums from my team and there's a couple of lads texting back from Marsaille. Russian mobs attacking scarfers with families everywhere inside and outside the ground. Gunna be a long night.

Former karate yellow-belt and venture scout Corax told Urban75 that Gerry Sutcliffe is "a bellend".

Former yellow belt? Is there a statute of limitations on karate qualifications?

I learned something new today then. That England are quite good but not that good, Sterling is shit, and we're basically 5 Spurs players let down by 6 not Spurs players; I already knew them.

Not particularly good for some on the receiving end. From guardian.

Police had to resuscitate one fan after he was filmed being dragged to the ground and repeatedly kicked in the head, apparently by several Russian fans, leaving him unconscious. Witnesses claimed he had also been attacked with a small axe leaving his head bleeding “like a tap”, although the allegation could not be immediately verified.

Another was also said to be in critical condition while several more bloodied England fans nursed head wounds and needed attention from emergency services.

Only watched the second half but to be honest England didn't even seem bad, just a unlucky goal to concede. For any chance England need 3 points against Wales to kinda ensure they qualify, even as a 3rd placed team.

This ain't developing anywhere nice. What happened after roma '84? English fans won't put up with this.
I think they've taken their eye off the ball here what with the terror alert shit. It's a bit of a disaster all round so far. It looks like they've been so busy looking for one thing they've forgotten the real threat to a football torno

ms starfish has just told me that after her blipping about & going back to the football that she thought it was bit odd that they sang the national anthems again.
