To be fair, I don't think Obama deserved it either. That doesn't make him different from many other recipients. Most years there's far better candidates out there than many of the nominees and/or winners.

That seems to be pretty much the pattern. People make their money acting like cunts and then don't like being called cunts. Andrew Carnegie and US Steel are another good example. Toward the end of his life he realized what his legacy was going to be and decided to build libraries, and invest in training librarians. Many of the old Carnegie libraries are still in use as libraries and that's mostly what he'll be remembered for. It still doesn't change the fact that he acted like a cunt for most of his life. Gates, Buffett, and Bezos are trying to do much same even now.
