re illegal migration in the US it does seems to be a peak at the moment
View attachment 405062View attachment 405063Immigration: Is US-Mexico border seeing a surge in migrants?
Donald Trump says migrants are crossing the border like the US "has never seen". We've checked the numbers.www.bbc.co.uk
and the numbers of Ukrainian people cross ya big plankYes it does. And of course the real number of illegal immigrants is far higher than this. It's policy for la Migra to look the other way atm, probably will be until after the election.
Trump is ignorant
He does not understand that the USA has a massive effect on the rest of the world regardless of anyone’s wishes .
America doesn’t really understand it’s an imperial power.
You can’ t just decide to leave the world stage because it’s inconvenient
I genuinely can't predict which way it will go. The fudging of the words of the constitution to not allow trump to not hold any other positions of office but somehow still run and become president is more like a oversight/loophole. Many of the supreme court judges were appointed by trump, will they have an allegiance? . . but if they do and twist / ignore the constitution to allow trump to run, they place his power above the supreme court . . . which is probably power that they would not be all that willing to relinquish. This is about the US constitution, so SCOTUS is the final judicial arbitrator.
The Colorado Supreme Court decision was a close call 4-3 and all 7 judges were liberal appointees. It’s been tossed out in other states. So it’s already a controversial legal argument amongst liberals. At the same time, it has currency amongst some conservative judges and influential legal scholars too. I’d predict SCOTUS overruling Colorado but it could go the other way too. Three liberal justices and two ‘moderate’ conservatives (say Roberts and Kavanaugh) could affirm.

If the supreme court rule on this case (which they almost certainly will) the ruling will affect every single other case for Trumps name on or off the ballot.
I reckon if they take him off the ballot there will be less kid gloves in his court cases. He will need to be shown as the criminal that he is. Any other person, ANY other person, would already be behind bars.

All the same, over 149k liked the tweet...It'll be a big disappointment for his voter if Ramaswamy takes himself off the ballot
I wonder what the split is in terms of just what aspect of the tweet each of those is 'liking'All the same, over 149k liked the tweet...
Fucks sake, just vote for him alreadyI predicted they'd pull a move like this weeks ago, when Kagan and Frum started inciting an anti-Trump coup:
Why did Maine and Colorado disqualify Trump from their ballots?
Decisions stem from the US constitution’s insurrection clause and could have major ramifications for 2024 electionwww.theguardian.com

I can't. I just can't. I wrote in Bernie, which shows true desperation.

you predicted that republican and independent candidates would sue in Colorado to get him removed from the election ballot
oh wait to busy blaming the Dems and biden
I certainly don't blame the Dems or "Biden" for the effort to remove Trump from the ballot. Pretty much the entire American political establishment, including most of the Republican Party, is united behind that. Only the voters are against it. Things are about to get interesting...
No respect is due - you're fine.PhilDwyer,... Please, with all due respect, FUCK OFF.
Tbf, with their endless flip-flopping, backflipping, flim-flammery, both-sidesism, obscurantism, and whataboutery, it can be tricky to settle on exactly what position that insufferable chin-stroker actually holds.hmm basically saying you salivating over the idea of another civil war occuring in the states

More proof that Trump is an incompetent would-be dictator, criminal and fraud who should spend the rest of his life rotting in a cell. Not that his lickspittles and idiot fans will care.

I when the US has a Supreme Court which Trump mostly appointed
It does have a Supreme Court mostly appointed by Republicans.
