That was an escalation, but it wasn't the start of the war. The US security state has been trying to provoke Putin into war since 2014, when they instigated the coup in Kiev, abrogated the Minsk protocols and encouraged the shelling of Donbass. That's when the war started. Trump interrupted it, which is the main reason the CIA loathe him. With Biden's election it was on again.

I'd put it differently. I'd say that Trump's election represents the end of the left/right terminology. Trump was supposed to be to the "right" of Biden, but we find Biden starting wars with nuclear powers and Trump avoiding them. We find Trump protesting against de-industrialization, and Biden supporting it. Not that Trump isn't a horror of a human being, naturally, but the human race was a lot safer with him in the White House. The Biden admin are seriously threatening to get us all killed.
He's no intellectual. He is however the only mainstream US politician to defend working-class jobs.

Long disused accounts suddenly becoming active after many years to post propaganda is a thing. A user suddenly appearing after 6 years to post almost exclusively Russian propaganda (including pro-Trump propaganda) smells a bit fishy to me. Of course I could be wrong.

The fact that he did in that statement do the very thing he was found guilty of here (inflating the value of his assets, specifically Mar-a-Lago) should tell people that he dictated it.
I don't remember his contributions clearly but I didn't think he was a Trump supporter.
