Is there something wrong with my terminology? I used female as women sounded like older people to me, and I didn't want to sound like Walliams, with the "laydees" tone. Girls may also have sounded wrong.

I think 'may' have that conotation is more accurate not forgetting that often interpretation of its conotation is down to the person reading the word not the one using it (as you have just illustrated)

It would be quite funny if Trump prevailed in the swing states after all the hyper-targeted shitfuckery by Musk/Russia, but lost due to losing Texas and Florida where they had their eye off the ball.

The removing felons from the voting roll mainly affects men. Most men are in his column due to Rogan bro shit etc. and generalised misogyny, that could backfire. Don’t know about the other crooked stuff they get up to (reducing polling stations in Democrat-leaning areas and so on). Think a lot of this was in place last time round too, so maybe nothing more than it has done in the past.

Kansas has been slowly turning purple. They had a Republican governor who did massive cuts to the budget, while giving tax breaks to the wealthy. It crashed the economy, caused schools across the state to close in the middle of the year due to lack of funds, and meant massive cuts in services. It totally pissed people off. In 2020, Bernie Sanders won the Democratic primary, if that give you any idea of the political shift in Kansas.

Which poll is this?
As far as I can tell there have been a whole two polls of Kansas during the election period (or rather one poll looking at both all adults and registered voters). Using that as evidence about what is happening in other states is complete nonsense. Hot take reckons from randoms on twitter are not a good guide.
