Donald Trump - MAGAtwat news and discussion

I think much of this is a lot more calculated than some give credit for. He quite probably genuinely doesn't know the names of any of the other forts. But he also knows that it doesn't matter that he doesn't know. His point is most effective when it is vague - precisely because the resentments, fears and prejudices he is playing to are vague. He plays on unfocussed anger.

The American rapist Donald J Trump continues to defame one his rape victims during a defamation trial brought by her and her lawyers just keep introducing it as further evidence for the jury! Side note, a precondition for being a juror in this civil trial is that you must accept as fact that Trump sexually assaulted and defamed the plaintiff. The damages award will be juicy in this one folks.

'I'm voting for Trump because he cares about FORTS!'

that's more than a side note. as was predicted (e2a not by me, i mean, but by legal observers), his counsel opened up by trying to "re-litigate" that finding. the judge shut it right down, and repeated his very specific instructions to the jury that the only thing at question was the amount of damages.

also, trump's lawyer needed instructions from the judge as to how to present evidence. it's ridiculous.

His testimony seems to have been three words. "100 percent" (Do you stand by your written statement?) and "No" (Did you instruct anyone to harm Ms Carroll? - something no-one has alleged), plus the phrase "I was only trying to defend myself", which the judge ordered to be struck.

Has anyone seen anything about the voting intentions of Republicans who can't stand Trump if he secures the nomination? There must be a small but perhaps significant number. Will they bite their tongues and turn out or stay at home? Wondering if there have been any polls or research done on this.

The latest polling averages show Haley (25%) trailing Trump (63%) by 38 points in her home state of South Carolina, which votes on Feb. 24 — and the margins are even wider in subsequent, delegate-rich states such as Ohio (-48 points), Florida (-52 points) and Texas (-53 points).

Not good news for those seeking an alternative,,, Perhaps RFK jr?
