I had to buy a wedding outfit and was looking for a dress. So I bought black linen trousers, linen shorts and a black top that's crinkly with lace and a few sequins down the front (all new look). The shorts have to go back as they don't have half the fastenings. 
Obviously popping in at the last minute to actually buy stuff I'd tried on earlier is a foolish plan.
The groom said black is fine but I couldn't find any acceptable (fit, budget, colour) dresses.

I do wear a bit of purple... yes it's the colour of mad women and of spinsters, apparently. What kind of denim...light/bleached denim, distressed denim, indigo?
I just got a bog standard one from H&M for £20.

worked it out now!
I bought some skinny bootcut jeans from topshop online but had to return them as they were the wrong colour. It means a jaunt to Brum now for me as my local topshop doesn't stock many in 30" leg. The jeans are lovely and fit me perfectly...from start to finish it has probably taken me about 6 months to find them. Why is it so hard to find good jeans these days ? A personal hate is jeans that have a rippled look just below the front pockets...and indigo denim.
