Celtic 2023/24: The Rodgers Return

A bit nervy at times but happy with the three points.

Someone is going to come in with a shitload of money to get Kyogo at some point. It's a given.

Will take Rodgers time. Celtic have been absolutely rank so far this season.

Luckily for him Mick Beale’s tribute act are also pish.

With both the bigoted arsecheeks looking out of sorts maybe there’s a chance for a sustained league challenge from 3rd this season. Not that anything much will come of it next May but still.

Will be hard work for Rodgers and likely a hard watch for the first third of the season. After that I expect normal service to be resumed.

He should be hugely motivated- if he fucks this gig up he is totally finished.

I didn't want Rodgers back, but there is no point crying over spilled milk, we're stuck with him for now. Nevertheless, I am surprised just how dismal we are right now given the fact that Rodgers has inherited a treble winning squad capable of playing a fast brand of football and score plenty of goals; has been in charge the whole summer and spent close to £15m, seemingly without improving the team. Fingers crossed it is just a slow start and we up our game a bit against Sevco 5088.

Feyenoord. Atletico Madrid and Nazio for Celtic in the Champions League.

Hard to see where they can make any headway there. Bottom of the group with no wins odds on I'd say.

Christ, I hate Atletico Madrid. Such an ugly team. Simeone can just fuck off.
