I'd swap the gherkins (EEEEWWWW!!!) for thinly sliced toms, but the rest is bang on.I would have:
Ketchup or tomato relish of some kind, gherkins, fried onions, mustard (american or grainy). cheese should be something melty - gruyere, emmental or suchlike. Does it need anything else? I don't think so, although I'm always willing to experiment.
I disagree, politely. Sliced thinly and bedded into the cheese as it melts they are a perfect acidic cut through all that juicy meat fat.Never cherry toms though. That would be stupid. They just fly out.
Where do people stand on an onion ring or two in the burger?
I occasionally put them in the bottom.
TW: Gerkins, sliced tomato, crunchy lettuce, sliced onion, garlic mayo or blue cheese, ketchup or chilli relish.
Not bothered about bacon.
What kind of bun? The bun is important.
Soft, floury bap for me.
Sesame seeds on top are okay.
Lightly toasted on the inside, soft on the outside.
Wrong imo. If I ever get served those I take them out and eat them separately.
I think we are bun buddies. None of this brioche rubbish.
I've had onion ringss in a burger. Burger King used to do one. Maybe they still do, I wouldn't know because I'm anti-royalist and boycotting them.
i didn't like it really but would be willing to try again with a different burger houses product
This sort of thing?
Pineapple in a burger?
