Rare burgers are weird anyway. Vegan or not.
I has some BBQ burned Linda MCartney ones at the weekend. this adds nothing to the thread I realise apart from reinforcing my opinion that the meat/ quorn/ whatevs is merely a delivery mechanism & justification for all the other stuff in a big ole burger that actually tastes good.
Dangerous slippery slope.I've been mostly avoiding McDonald's for while as trying to lose weight, but slipped this week. Anyway played with one of those order terminals and looked at the customise button. Turns out that adding Lettace and Bacon to a Double Cheeseburger only pushes the price to £1.89 and makes a far superior product.

ADD ALL THE OPTIONS
Under normal circumstances, yes, but this is McDonald's and many of then are grim. Don't do their sauces for example.
I was disappointed to see that the option for another burger was greyed out, but amused to see you could ditch the bread, so could construct your own. I can't imagine a patty with cheese on its own dealing well with their packaging though...
I do not. But a mate used to... From what I recall, you need quite a bit of extra fat...Does anyone make their own burgers and mice the meat? If so what cuts? I'm guessing it's something you need to do a fair few at a time as the mincing process seems to be quite wasteful and beef is more expensive then pork.

Going to Five Guys later. Only the second time so I know not to over order fries
I think Five Guys is worth the spend as a treat. The burgers are very good and it is good to choose your toppings/sauces.Still not been! They aren't that handy to be and seem expensive for a fast food chain.
You not a BBQ man Badgers? Id have thought it would be right up your street on a day like this!
Who needs a garden when there's a perfectly decent pavement to bbq on?I think Five Guys is worth the spend as a treat. The burgers are very good and it is good to choose your toppings/sauces.
I like a BBQ (my first own teenage business was BBQ ) but have no garden
It was good. Not cheap at £40 for three but that included unlimited pop and we only managed half the one large fries (took others home) we ordered. Burger was very good and I was stuffedGoing to Five Guys later. Only the second time so I know not to over order fries

Taken a couple of years ago, but still fresh in my mind.
Has he proffered up any excuse or perceived benefit for this idiocy? There's a bloke at my work who eats his burgers upside down.
UPSIDE DOWN!
I've told him.
I hope you're sitting down Badgers . He said it hadn't occurred to him and tasted the same anyway. Shocking.Has he proffered up any excuse or perceived benefit for this idiocy?

He did have one a couple of days later and ate it the right way up though. And I saw him look to see if I'd clocked him. I had
