Burger Thread. Yes!

As you probably know from the other thread I don't eat eggs. Occasionally I'll order a double sausage egg mcmuffin, sans egg. Which feels like a waste of money, but it's change from their limp bacon rolls. Driving to N Wales at silly o'clock in the morning though my choices are limited.

Anyway again the Australians have this right. When I was there years back they'd do a sausage and bacon version. I keep hoping McDonald's UK will take note, but ten years on they are yet to do so. :(

Yep, still not as good as a whopper

A whopper done well. BKs quality control is no where near as good as McDonald's, which is unacceptable as they are more expensive. Especially when I want to eat them which is when on long journeys where the prices take the piss.

That said a decent XL Bacon Double Cheese is amazing.

Yep, coming back from Le Continent, first Burger King after Birmingham. I just about had a bloody heart attack when I saw how many calories in a Double Whopper with cheese. Mind you, I don't eat breakfast so that has been the first bite since leaving Amsterdam, and will be the last until I get home.

Had this little number the other day. Not had a burger that wasn't of the fast food variety for ages. In the Nags Head in Edale after a day's walking, so was rather peckish. Price was £11 so definitely on the steep side, but that's the location I guess.

Burger itself was good, but the roll definitely should have been better for the money. Marks lost for poncy presentation and given where they are, then healthy appetites should be expected and more chips provided.
