Burger Thread. Yes!

Had a Bacon King from the BK at Bristol airport today. Wouldn't normally have bothered, but I'm claiming the cost back from work and I'd not had any breakfast. Pretty tasty, and the 8 (EIGHT) rashers of bacon that came with the two quarter pounders were a welcome addition. Recommended.

Was in Birmingham yesterday and decided to go for a burger in an independent place called Buffalo and Rye

I just had a house cheeseburger which was very good

My meat mincer has arrived! I think it calls for home made burgers. May have to take a trip to the butchers soon. I've had reasonable results by hand, but has anyone used a burger press and was there much improvement?

Had this last night in the Sun in Ulverston. Was OK. Being fairly critical as it was going on £15! Burgers were slightly dry which was main disappointment. Bun could have been sturdier to cope with that much meat. Choice of cheeses which was nice, although not sure I'd choose mozzarella again, was interesting. Chilli jam was good. Chips very good, don't like this new trend to put them in mini fryer baskets.

On the plus side I wasnt hungry afterwards, but did have a starter and beer selection was good.

Plate
Bacon looks uncooked
You can f off with rocket n all
Bun not toasted?
Chips in a basket
Hard to comment on the patties as need to see an internal dissection. If there's that much meat you want it juicy innit
I too would be unsure about mozzarella but it could be acceptable if it worked with the other bun contents
What did your companion have to eat or did she just watch you? :D

Hemp mayo and hemp bbq sauce? Sounds like overkill flavour wise.

Burger looks good though, plus they have cooked the bacon.
