Burger Thread. Yes!

I have no problem with BurgerLad whatsoever, I did question how come a burger connoisseur could deal with Mc'D's patties so, but everyone has their own tastes, and hey, you can't just exclude the biggest burger seller in the world because they're capitalist lowlifes who treat people like shit and have crap patties - the numbers speak for themselves :)

Carry on BL, I welcome your reviews.

Exactly! He loves their crap patties, i suppose

So what your basically saying is it's not about advertising but page views (which also equals advertising revenue given the amount of adds on your site).

Not being funny but this is urban. What did you expect?

I have to say your reviews do strike me as having a McDonalds bias. Maybe you've had better "chain" experiences than me but slating a burger king burger while wearing a McDonalds uniform, and using an ad provider that says you are part of a "social media influencer that's passionate about food" does you no favours.

I like your reviews and would love for them to continue but getting into a hissy fit at the first sign of criticism probably means there's a hidden agenda. I hope I'm wrong....
So many logical fallacies in this post...

Some Yorkshire bastard has come up with this. I don't like the sound of it and the chips look shite.
Yorkshire pudding burger.

oh, were you expecting some kind of sunday dinner / burger hybrid? My apologies, it was just a burger I ate for lunch on sunday...

My stuffed burger press continues to impress:

Stuffed with mushrooms and blue cheese again. Bloody fantastic. With chillis, gherkins, mustard, ketchup, mayo, lettuce and tomato.

And not in a brioche, not in a muffin. IN A BRIOCHE MUFFIN.

How about some pictures of yer burger mate? rather than just the press

Got a burger and chips from the chippie. The burger was standard takeaway fare, using an okay pattie, salad, iceberg lettuce, processed cheese and fried onions. The chips were flawless. Given how hungover I am, it hit the spot

My goodness you people are so predictable. As soon as the McRib comment was posted I knew my name would come up and the whole shill accusation would re-emerge. I’ve actually watched in amusement reading your wild conspiracy theories and was more than happy to let the myth grow.

1. If you think this a wild conspiracy theory for urban75 you've not spent much time on urban.

So a McDonald’s shill? Well I am 100% certain a multi-billion global corporation such as McDonald’s doesn’t require one individual to help promote their products. Look at their recent social media activity around the McRib. As of writing, Facebook McRib post has 5,261 shares and 22,758 likes. Twitter McRib tweet has 2.4k retweets and 2k favourites – far bigger numbers than I could ever expect or hope for from my own accounts.

2. You kept flogging the Make your own burger McDonalds competition.

How long has Burger Lad® pined for the My Burger promotion that has been available in other European Countries? Too long! Well Monday 19th May McDonald’s launched the My Burger build a burger competition allowing members of the burger public to create their own burgers. The website features a gallery where you can see the latest, most popular and trending creations. All the social media tools are there to allow you to share your creation. You can vote if you would like a burger created and five burgers based on the judging of ingredients and name will be released on Wednesday 15th October 2014.

Excited!? Yeah we are and of course the official Burger Lad® burger has already been submitted. I won’t hold my breath though based on that name but thanks to everyone that has voted so far

And Mc Donalds have never ever ever, ever, set up a fake blog to promote their own competition or PR
