British and Irish Lions 2017

Kiwis always been known to get stronger in the 2nd half. Am looking forward to the game, if this time the Lions pack hold together would be a good platform for the backs. Was a bit suprised how last week they got taken apart quite a bit by the ABs.
Yeah. The fact that both our locks put in 4/10 performances really didn't help in terms of gaining parity, or even an edge, up front.

The finishing has not been good enough through the tour , that's what has killed us. Think AWJ didn't look fit last week, if he has a knock he should have had an HIA , Gatland/Wales have a not great recent history at spotting this sort of thing (North). I would have thought they would have taken these recent lessons and improvements with them, not good enough from a player welfare pov and may have affected the result (think ABs would have won anyway though).
Absolutely agree, though you have to hand it to the AB scramble defence as well. The number of nearlies in that last test could, had they been converted into tries, have led to a very different result.

Gatland has stated that he couldn’t field the players for political reasons. So why the fuck bother in the first place? Why not call up Launchbury et al so they can play.

BTW - I reckon that Gareth Davies is a better scrum half than Laidlaw, who has been embarrassingly shit this tour.
As much as I support the Lions I want them to lose so the wru can finally see the sun doesn't shine out of his arse and they get some perspective here. As a coach for Wales he hasn't won fuck all for us of recent. Infact our last win was 13 and that was howler. Seriously. What union keeps a coaching set up that hasn't won a title since 13? The wru that's who. I know you said he's got a ridiculous watertight contract bendeus but surely there must be some clause that they can get rid of him?

I don't think they can, mate. No break clause, no performance related clause, contracted-in breaks for Lions duty and full payoff @£300 odd k per year if he is forced out prior to 2019.

Roger. Fucking. Lewis

Thats disgraceful. What cuntmug would come up with such a watertight contract-WTF was he thinking?

Was the crowd just changing "0h Jeremy Corbyn " whilst they wee setting up for that scrum?

It was a call from a ref that should have been made before. We all remember Burgers fingers & the Umaga Mealamu tombstone.

If we can't win against 15 then we don't deserve the tour.

I don't see how anyone could argue for anything but a red.

Lions however seem more shaken by it than the ABs.

Itoje having a great game

The conditions causing a lot of the lions errors. I've been to the cake tin twice each time the wind was awful.

Theyve done a hell of a lot worse over the years, JPRs face springs to mind, so Sonny Boy can feel hard done by but refs have to make a statement now & again & say enoughs enough.

Murray, Itoje and Vunipola responsible for so many penalties. Total indiscipline and poor captaincy from Warburton.

Gatland shitting out of necessary substitutions.

Oops - try!
