Brazil vs Mexico (R16) - 15:00 - 02/07/2018

Badgers

Mr Big Shrimp!
R.I.P.
Looking forward to this one
There have been 11 games already at this World Cup between nations who have never played before. Brazil and Mexico, on the other hand, are the oldest of enemies. This meeting in the last 16 is the 41st time the two countries have faced off, with Brazil leading the head-to-head with 23 victories to Mexico's 10. In four World Cup meetings, Mexico are yet to even score.
Brazil's chance of lifting the Fifa World Cup on 15 July is now 25%, the highest it has been so far. There is still a long way to go though and currently Brazil are more likely NOT to win the World Cup than they are to win it.

I reckon Mexico might just pull this off. They have looked pretty good so far & seem to play as a team. Judging by the other results in the knockouts I am going for Mexico to win 3-1 but I don't bet on football.

Match of the tournament for me and I'm gonna miss it

Fingers crossed I can wear my Mexico shirt to work tomorrow though.

Could be a close one but I'm still backing Brazil to win the whole thing so I reckon they'll scrape through this one. I'm going to go 2 - 1.

Have a feeling the natural order of things will reassert itself today. For no other reason than it hasn't done for the last few days. Must admit I'm like one of those wankers who has Barcelona as their second team - I actually quite like seeing the bulk of the big teams go through (plus England ;)).

Well, I'm Brazilian... But I lived in Mexico when I was little for a couple of years. Whoever wins I happy. :)

This World Cup has been full of surprises, so it's possible Mehico might win.
