I could not see the point in subbing Cillessen at all - unless it was to give the other keeper a chance of a WC game.

That was it. I think he was the only one in the team not to have already been on or something, though that seems odd. There was definitely some kind of stat trotted out.

They've got three decent 'keepers have the Dutch! Cillessen, Vorm and mighty, mighty Krul!

Also, it does seem like Van Gaal has a habit of keeping a sub spare, just in case he wants to bring a 'keeper on in the last minute
