Boomtown 2013 8th-11th August

GoCarShare is always worth a look?

I've looked on the car share things they use but punters don't arrive until Thursday and he needs to be there between 2-5pm on Wednesday.

Found a coach to Winchester which doesn't work out too bad. Are there buses that run to the site from there?

Yes, I remember seeing the queue on thursday. Dunno about for crew.

Ask on their forums.

the queue for crew was minuscule compared to the punter's

shame it was quite a walk from the front of the punter's gate to the crew gate :hmm:

Hello peeps, cos I'm being all grown up at the moment.... motherhood, new house purchase, setting up own company...I cant afford the time away, or indeed the time recovering from Boomtown and am therefore selling my Tier 3 ticket, Carparking ticket and locker/phone charging voucher at face value - £160.

Lemme know by pm if you or anyone you know might be looking for a ticket.

Haha, to be honest I just wanted to check and this forum seemed the most approachable. Couldn't make my mind up whether to take or not.....thanks for responses though. And I'm not a boy!

right, so see this 'magic carpet' thing... does it go and down the big fuck off hill? and what all's moved up the hill this year? bodyshop at all?

What?

Why would you need help going down a hill?

Looks like Arcadia is up there, hence the need for the help up. Don't think they have thought it through but that's boomtown for you.

I am selling 2 x Tier 4 tickets, car parking + refundable eco- bond at face value £296.20 (ono). Tickets are emailable. Please message me if you know someone who needs them :)

he could chance his arm on the oxfam fb page https://www.facebook.com/groups/2211928194/ I've seen other people working for different charities scrape lifts on there.

no water sliding or magic carpeting for me :(

and I grow increasingly nervous about the whole affair but it will be fun I'm sure, I'll sit in one place and you can all come and talk at me.
