Boomtown 2013 8th-11th August

unless someone has just lobbed out over £3K on the off chance of earning £260 i'd say probably taking the piss.

What Is it? 30 quid saving per ticket? I could do with saving that, tbh!
More like £15. Which is obviously better than a kick in the face but they clearly got people in with the big saving on the tier one (£40) when there were only a tiny amount available.

Considering how much the booking fee is the process is a bit of a pisstake.

oh well, it'll still be fucking amazing. :D

I had another look and It's 25 quid.

I spose the key thing Is to not miss out on Tier 2. But the Instalment option on Tier 3 is easier.

The £40 price saving for me is nearly the cost of my campervan ticket.

What really fucked me off last year is the charge for the eco bond and then they didn't even give ecobond tickets out on the way into site for the campers...... It was essentially a con.

Could well be Tier 1 went so quickly as anyone who had a ticket for the cancelled Equinox was offered a guaranteed Tier 1 by way of apology. That's how I got mine ;)

I got in touch with them about that... didn't hear anything back tho

They responded about it on their forums, but it was very much "We're sorry, it wont happen next year"....... of course it will happen next year, its a festival, little things like ecobonds get forgotten in the panic of opening day......

The ironic thing is the campervan fields are normally the ones that actually cause the least rubbish most of the time, so its a double par really. Personally I think anyone who had a campervan 2013 should get £10 beer tokens for 2014, but I very much doubt anything will be done about it, realistically it would but into their profits huge amounts, and they can't guarantee that people who say they went in at campervan entrance definately did. If they could at least do one per van though that would go a long way.

Fair enough tbh.

I never got an eco bond tag thing to hand back in so couldn't do it. Surely it would make more sense to pay a couple of quid per bag to really incentivise people?

Does anyone want my ticket to boomtown? Its on the 3 part payment scheme and I have only paid the first instalment £60 and I have contacted the boomtown authorities and they said I could transfer it.. im happy to pass it on for fifty quid? (10 pounds less?)
Sorrt if this is the wrong place for this.
