I really liked it... you can see the middle of the festival from whereever you are camped (well, tents at least - campervans are elsewhere )

No... it's fairly gradual before the full-on sides of the bowl (which are out of bounds). Just right for having a bit of run-off. For the rain that we won't have. ;-)

In an abandoned medical waste disposal site, next to an unlicensed abattoir, a mere 14 mile walk across an old nuclear testing ground from the festival. It's the best place for campervans.

Err... not in the bowl. Outside of the bowl. Not a crazy walk, but not really connected to the festival properly. (Assuming a similar layout to Glade '09).
