Bernie is running

So, Keith Ellison eh?

Bernie's been quick off the mark to ensure he captures the momentum from his campaign and channels it into winning other victories, which is good. He's backing Keith Ellison for DNC Chair (previously held by Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who is accused of helping stitch up the DNC's approach to the primaries in favour of Hillary). Ellison is black, he's muslim, and as far as I can see he's as left wing, if not more so, as Bernie (could be wrong here - this is going on his twitter feed lol). Warren has come out and endorsed him as well. Running against him is Howard fucking Dean. Not sure if there are others standing as well, and not sure when the position gets filled.

Anyway, Bernie's getting on now (although he's only 5 years older than Trump) and in 4 years time it's not by any means certain he'll be in a position to run again, he'll be 79. The sensible thing is to start to bring up new people who can 'replace' him as leader of whatever movement it is that's behind him now, and be the left candidate. This Ellison stuff might be part of that, but lord can you imagine running a muslim candidate after 4 years of a Trump presidency?

I can imagine it very well, actually.

Anyway, I reckon it'll be Warren. She'll be touted as the middle way candidate. More left than Hillary, not as left as Bernie. And a woman so the Hillbots can't complain about that either. Not too establishment, but just establishment enough.

I find it unfathomable that these fucking idiots are still keeping up this Bernie owned slaves schtick AFTER the election. It was strange when it continued after the primaries but now that they've seen what has happened, they are STILL persisting with this crap!

Was the election rigged against Bernie Sanders? DNC lawsuit demands repayment for campaign donors.
5/15/17
A class action lawsuit alleging the Democratic National Committee worked in conjunction with Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign to keep Bernie Sanders out of the White House has been raging on in the courtrooms for months on end–and yet, most people have no idea of its existence, in large part thanks to the mainstream media's total lack of coverage.

Jared Beck, a Harvard Law graduate and one of the several attorneys who filed the suit against the DNC and its former chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz, wants retribution for donations made by supporters to the Vermont senator's campaign, citing six legal claims of the DNC’s deceptive conduct, negligent misrepresentation and fraud. The DNC violated Article 5, Section 4 of its own charter by working with a single campaign to effectively choose who would win the Democratic ballot, the attorneys stated in the suit.
Hardly anything but maybe something will come of it.
