Here's my luxury hotel from the weekend. It caused much amusement amongst FB friends so I thought I'd share it here (and forewarn others).
Can a room this small even be legal?
A friend commented on FB: "How did you manage to smuggle a smartphone into your cell"

Safety concern
Having been woken at 4.30am by a man immediately outside my window on the first floor who had climbed up and was trying to get into the building, I phoned the night duty manager, but no one answered. There was no answer when I tried again at 7.00. I believe the man did eventually get in! I was very frightened. It was impossible to contact a member of staff in what I considered to be an emergency and as a woman staying there alone, I feel there are very real safety concerns. I would not stay there again
In case you're wondering why I stayed there it was because the room was booked for me and - apparently - the reviews on the site she booked on weren't that bad.Dreadful place
My wife booked this place as it was cheap for a family visit. My best advice is to pay £15 or £20 a night extra to book somewhere else. It was smelly and dirty with more dust than the surface of the moon. You have to pay extra for parking and the bathroom was dated and smelt of urine. The guy at reception had the disposition of a serial killer and a lesson has been learnt that I need to check trip advisor reviews first before I do anything else.
