Athens Greece: Cops murder a 16 year old

For the first time in 4 1/2 years I-ve just put someone on "ignore".

I don't come here to read bile like that.

:(

...until you find out that it was an accident and the bullet bounced off a wall first.

Of course it did. And Kennedy's head flew backwards because he heard the echo of the sound of the bullet before the bullet hit him. I always wondered what sort of idiot would believe an explanation dependant entirely on the fact that pulling a trigger temporarily renders the laws of physics null and void

Bounced of a wall eh?? Well let me inform you on the latest news about all this.... Of course it is IRRELEVANT how Alexis was hit the point is that the police man FIRED with his gun at a teenager.. If you read the greek law it says (a free translation of only the essential articles):

* A police man is only allowed to shoot if his life is in danger. He must have used any other appropriate method to stop the attack and fail so he has no other alternative than fire. He MUST fire a WARNING SHOT first, before shooting against the attacker. When shooting at the attacker his aim should be to INJURE the attacker and not kill.

* Warning shots are shots that are fired in a way that do not injure anyone NOT EVEN ACCIDENTALLY

* Police officers ARE NOT ALLOWED to shoot at anyone who is under 18, except if their life is in danger and have no other alternative. Even in this case they should shoot ONLY warning shots.

So according to this law even if he shot at the air and the bullet hit at a lamp post and changed direction, as his lawyer said, the shot IS NOT a warning shot because he should see the lamp post and try to avoid it when shooting.

So because of this, the defence line of the cop has changed, he now says that he shot TWICE on the air as warning shots and when he was putting his gun back in position it fired accidentally for a THIRD time and that was the shot that hit Alexis. It hit him on the chest although the 3rd shot was low because Alexis had dunked and was not standing up, so his body was lower.

But... WHERE IS THE THIRD BULLET SHELL ??? ONLY 2 HAVE BEEN FOUND

Also.... the eye witnesses say that the cop fired TWICE and Alexis was killed with the SECOND SHOT .. This is why we only have 2 bullet shells and not 3.

The ballistic report is not published yet. The journalists say it is ready but for some reason they dont publish it yet. All this theory that the bullet was damaged and foreign material was found on the bullet come from "confidential sources" of the journalists.

One of these "leaks" from one "confidential source" was that on the bullet they have found asphalt (road material) .. This fits with the theory of the 3rd bullet a lot, as the gun should be pointing down while he was putting it back in position...

The problem with this theory??? ..... THERE IS NO ASPHALT THERE The alley that Alexis was shot is a PEDESTRIANS AREA...

The only REAL FACTS that we have up to now for this whole story is what the witnesses are saying... All the rest is media bullshit propaganda and we should be very critical of what they say.

No derf is about the only one who seems to have taken the time to look into these stories and try to see beyond the posters who spout off with no facts and a political agenda so clear you can see it a mile away.

In both cases it's the police pigs murdered a poor little kid for no reason if the first poster who mentioned it is to be believed.
In both cases there was far more to it that than the poster's narrow version of the truth would allow them to post.

The first dead bastard turned out to be a member of the far left or at least a thug using it as an excuse to be a bastard. he got caught point blank by a pig who aimed straight at him until you find out that it was an accident and the bullet bounced off a wall first.
The second was a bastard of the extreme right who had just tried to kill his own family before attacking the cops.

Both died as a result of their own stupidity. Tough shit. As for the rioters I hope they drop their own petrol bombs in their laps so they can see what risk the coppers take while protecting the public from scumbags like them.

What a charmer.

If stupidity was a cause of death hen you would have died years ago.

Let me update you about today's demo in Athens.

A pupil and student demo was organized for 12 o clock today, starting from Propylaia as usual. More than 10000 attended, the vast majority of them school kids and teenagers. It was again an angry demo, the school kids have been proven to be the BEST demonstrators during these days, focused and determined, they really seem that they are on the streets FOR A REASON. During the last 2 days, 25 police departments have been attacked all by school kids and teenagers. This is the best answer to the system and the media, who only talk about "vandals with covered faces" ... Well NO pupil had a covered face at all the demos.

The police was provocative from the very beggining of the demo. Chemicals were continiously thrown during the whole demo, as well as a lot of clashes with the police. They were hitting visiously and throwing chemicals, although we are talking about young school kids....

In Korai str they arrested and visiously hit a 13 years old girl.. A lot of journalists and reporters that were there they were filming them and shouting at them to stop hitting the girl.. The result was chemicals against the reporters and they started beating them... One journalist got badly hit. At a small alley near Panepistimiou str the RIOT police went in, in order to wait for the demo and hit it from the side. The people who were on that alley (the alley is full of cafes) starting shouting at the police to get out of there and a lot starting throwing at them glasses, chairs and stones. They threw chemicals against them but they had to run out of there as they were being attacked a lot. They turned to Panepistimiou str again where people of the public (even random pedestrians) were shouting at them and throwing them stones. Some of them tried to arrest a boy (about 15 years old) who was on the demo (not throwing stones) because he had his head covered (not face just head)..... The public managed to rescue the boy as they pulled him from them. Four pupils were arrested.

A lot of tension started also at Syntagma square, where a lot of chemicals were also thrown as well as stunt grenades. These grenades have been used a lot throughout the week.

Some comrades broke in the office of Mr Kougias, the lawyer of the cop, and trashed it completely. Kougias told the press that these actions are not going to hold him back from defending the cop.....

An another "happening" from todays events was this :

grecia39.jpg

A petrol bomb was thrown against this cop outside the Law Department of the University of Athens as an answer to the "fuck you" gesture that he did a few seconds before, to the comrades that have taken over that building. The other cops around quickly put out the fire and the cop was not injured. This triggered violence around the area of the Law Department for quite enough time.

The demo finished when heavy rainfall started.

A "sit down" demonstration (if I am using this term correctly) was also taking place at Syntagma square. At the beggining the MAT (RIOT police) was there and were trying to create trouble with the demonstrators but it was a peacefull demo so they left. Normal police went to replace them, they stayed at that point for some time and when they realised that the guys were not "terrorists" they left. An another sit down demo has been organized for 10 o clock tonight but I dont know if it will happen because of the rain.

Also a bicycle demo is about to take place today, normally bicycle demos have a lot of crowd but today because of the rain I am not sure how many will be there.

NOTHING IS OVER YET.. WE ARE ONLY IN THE BEGINNING.

NO PEACE NO JUSTICE

can i suggest we stay on topic..

When people start talking about themselves in the third person it IS time to

visit a psychiatrist.

In Greek law, mentally ill people are not send to prisons but to special

institutions that can help them with their condition,

because they are beyond judgement on account of their condition you know,

therefore

instead of an appropriate reply to anyone with a brain ,

I'll give you this

at about 00.40 seconds there is something for you derf

Oh, and happy holidays at that planet of yours

about the 2nd youtube video MC5's post

Thoroughly enjoyed the first video

I picked up the paper at lunch over here in the US and it said the riots had spread to France, Spain, Italy and Denmark. Has anyone got any good articles on this they can link to?

One writer reports:

Participation [in the anti-police demonstration] was phenomenal by the city's standards - around 3,000 people took the streets of Patras behind the anarchist banners and against state violence.
"Toward the end of the demo however the riot police launched a major offensive, forcing it to retreat toward the city's university building. Soon after, the most incredible attack began: Tens of fascists assaulted the demonstration with knives and stones. Co-ordinating perfectly with the police, they continued their attack and, according to some reports, even did some joint arrests.
"The demonstrators were confronted with the following unbelievable spectacle: They were facing a group of people throwing police-owned tear gas at them while chanting "blood, honour, Golden Dawn". The remaining demonstrators' block, numbering around 500, was completely torn apart; people were chased all the way into their flats; demonstrators had to seek refuge in flats in their tens and 20s, while the cops and the nazis smashed their windows and tried to force entry.

About 100 students are participating in a sit down demo at Syndagma, in front of the monument of the unkown soldier, holding candles. See it live on this link

The group of bikers just joined them (11.17pm- Greek time)
Lovely disruption of traffic and not mayhem at all ( to poke at the economist's journalist)
11.25pm oh well, the Greeks in their cars couldn't participate more in this, they were in a hurry to go ... where I wonder, who's going to work on Friday night... anyway the feed shows again the sit down demo
The singing has started... (12.04am-Greek time)

Tweets from the solidarity demonstration going on in Paris:

Today's dem. in Paris took place betw. 17H30-~19H30. Around 300 persons. Police and, this time, also CRS (MAT).

More French students participated after call of their organizations. Demonstrators tried to reach Champs Elysées but impeded by CRS

FInally found a way to Champs by small street and stopped circulation for a bit in Champs. CRS started running betw. demonstrators and surprised tourists! I think police quite nervous here.

No but i have seen the vid and two shots can be heard.

So you see a rough video that could have been edited by anyone and hear two shots. You can't see shit all detail but that's enough to convict as they are pigs so must have done it.
