Christmas Eve, you know?
and they worked well enough.
Thank G-d.
and they worked well enough.
The f104 wasnt a bad fair weather interceptor.
Just a lousy all weather low level strike plane made worse by pilots training in texas nice weather lack of hills
Coming back to germany hills bad weather lockheed martin paid massived bribes to flogg it to the germans.
The germans could have brought thr british lighting which wouldnt have been much better in the role but at least had a ejector seat that went up
They're quite handy, actually, what with the usual pair of .50s, and pair of 7.62s, and the grenade launchers and the armour. Very effective tool for clearing the enemy from the streets, and handy for demos on the housing where the pesky enemy are hiding, too!
And yes, tanks are more easily-destroyed in an urban environment, but only if the enemy has suitable materiel for tank-busting.
In Budapest in '56, they dealt with snipers by just blowing away the ground floors of the buildings they were shooting from.
So what. Women can be just as effective as men in all that kind of thing. Is that it? Or fucking what?
...A stupid and wasteful male answer to problem-solving....
...Wish I could remember who it was.
Yes, could well have been him!the Very Rev. Dannat has been on the TV - perhaps it just shows how out of touch some very senior Officers are with modern combat operations: when he was head of the Army, female soldiers were using bayonets on the Taleban, and female Apache and fast jet pilots were putting 30mm explosive rounds into individual Taleban and dropping 500lb bombs in them - somewhat disapointing that he didn't notice...
Something appears wrong with my Internets. I typed Urban 75 into the search bar but appear to have been directed to a thread in ARSE....
(Even down to an informed debate on FIBUA getting side tracked in to comments about nuns in suspenders.)

DotCommunist I am not sure what you mean. Do you mean it stinks for blokes to do this so women should not do it even given the opportunity? What about if some do want to do it?

My view is the more the merrier, as long as I don't have to serve in a front line unit myself I don't really mind who else does! If someone passes the required tests they should be able to do it!
