This story's been running in the Manchester Evening News since they ditched the car on the M61. Seems like more information is gradually being fed to the media.

200 cops on the case seems a lot but maybe that's what royal connections gets you. They seem to have been in London most recently, the kid hasn't had any medical attention and the fella may be dangerous. I wonder how they met.

This keeps cropping up on my news feed. The latest bit I just read was that he had been in jail in Florida for 20 years and then got deported to UK and the baby was born in the car, which got destroyed, no medical assistance etc. The drip feed of information is odd.

I think anyone who's a registered sex offender would be considered a risk as far as a pre birth assessment is concerned. They'll possibly have been on the radar of a children's services department somewhere.

How they've come to children's services attention is another matter, maybe he has to sign on as an RSO or maybe she's had to seek medical attention during the pregnancy or something.

He's British but his family moved from Birmingham to Florida when he was young - he raped a woman when he was 14 and because he apparently wasn't a US citizen, they deported him back to the UK when he finished his 20-year sentence in 2010.

The search is for the baby rather than the mother, and to be fair there is usually big police responses for abducted children.

The whole thing about her being an estranged aristo is more of an exciting detail for the papers than anything else.

Two other children removed is the rumour. She met this guy in 2016 and then was quickly estranged from her family and dropped out of drama school.

It’s not clear whether she concealed the pregnancy or stopped engaging when it was clear they would remove.

They’re not going to be able to leave the country now unless they have fake documents and know someone with a jet because of their high profile. It’s worrying what people will do when they feel cornered.
