Croatia's midfield is world class and is miles better than England's, England have better forward players and have the better defence. Wil be a close game. Assuming Croatia beat Russia which I think they will do quite easily

tbh, I haven't been following that closely. I seem to recall the one game that I saw Croatia play, they were ok, nothing outstanding (Modric aside). England should be able to beat either team fairly comfortably tbh.
They were poor against Denmark but battered Argentina. They would have won all their games by a lot more if they had a striker of the quality to match the chances created. Definitely England's toughest opponent yet
Yeah, Argentina weren't very good though. I guess at this stage anybody can beat anybody. Portugal are the current Euro champions and Greece shocked everybody by beating Portugal in 2004, so it's always possible for very average teams to win. Of the teams that are still in the competition, Belgium, France and England have the best teams and one of those should win the competition imo, although it's possible that either Croatia or Russia can do what Greece and Portugal did and win a major competition even though they're not the best team.
Croatia should be in the first set of teams - they aren't a plucky underdog
