Where have you seen England fans gloating when they win? You must be very old to remember the mood in 1966.

I don't remember gloating as such at the time: it was a good feeling and all mixed up with Beatlemania, Swinging London and so on. I suppose there was some gloating in the added frisson of it being Germany. Were there people from the other UK countries who were not pleased for England? I don't remember.
