Repeating the score umpteen times followed by umpteen cheesy grins? That's not gloating at all.
If England had lost and a Lincoln did that in one of your precious World Cup thread, there'd be an awful lot of sulky stroppy Eng-Lund fans moaning about being provoked and how boring it was, lol.
Anyway, England should on paper beat the Russians, Sweden are better than Russia and England comfortably beat the Swedes. The thing that Russia have in their favour is home support which can also work against them especially if a couple of early goals against shuts them up. So I reckon it'll be an England vs France/Belgium final.

I am generally ABE (as in, were England playing Azerbaijan at tiddlywinks, I would be instinctively cheering on the plucky former Soviet Republic) but, personally, I can never lose when Ingerlund are playing.
If they win, I think of how happy the hundreds of decent, salt-of-the-Earth, people (who happen to support England) that I grew up with, worked with, drank with, played with, fought alongside will be - and how happy I am that they are happy.
When England lose - and they will as soon as they come up against a good team - I chuckle and think of all the horrible, knuckledragging Little Englanders and their Tory-boy puppetmasters choking on their cornflakes, because some Johnny Foreigner has had the cheek to beat them. And I smile.
We have yet to reach peak gobshitery from the english media in this WC - Á la the 'hairy Spanish women' and 'WW2 re-run' of Euro 96.
But I confidently predict it is imminent and it will be ugly.

Oops, my bad. Either way, England have a better squad than both Croatia and Russia and should beat either of them. Of course I hope that it doesn't happen but that's what I'm expecting to happen...unfortunately.
