I can't stand and squirt the bottle of iced water accurately mate. It's easier sitting down. This was some pretty nasty chilli sauce I ofset the risk with.

Quite, if the tin isn't blown, its fine. When I was a kid, tins didn't have run out dates, they sat in the cupboard until used.

I wouldn't take a risk with out of date fish but because it would have been sterilised before you should be ok.
