It does appear that, on yet another policy area, the only difference for Labour between them and the Tories is their imagined greater competence at incentivising the market.
The fact that the market will only build homes for profit - and not to actually meet the need for mass affordable housing- does not appear to have crossed Rayner’s mind. It’s pitiful.
