Aberdonians please DON'T go to Costa

Should be interesting to see exactly how much publicity that is given now the Paralympics is over :hmm:
Needs tweeting

That is about the mankiest Costa in the City but I am surprised. Both the Costas I'm likely to use (although it is the bottom of my coffeshop choice) are quite accommodating to breastfeeding and have been for years, longer than the legislation has been in place IIRC.

It wasn't breastfeeding. Did you read the link? She didn't even have her norks out.

Tubefeeding - other customers allegedly complained about the noise made by wind in the feeding tube. IMHO they need to learn that human beings make involuntary noises all the time.

Yes, I did read it, can't have been fully awake!

I'll still stand by what I said as both the Costas I use with any regularity are quite up on disabled customers as well. One is cheek by jowel with the city centre carers drop-in & the other is close to a major care home, so it is absoloutely not unusual to find disabled customers in them.

Absolutely disgraceful. They should be more compassionate and I hope both the customers and the shop staff are thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Like Minnie says, so much for changing attitudes.

especially when they're babies.... I mean babies do all sort of gross things, I can't believe anyone would object to this in particular.

Hang on, isn't that bubbly tube noise exactly the same noise a coffee machine makes?

It can be an awful lot worse. A very frail old woman in the same ward as my mother just now has to be tubefed and its not a pleasant sound/experience at all. However its still no excuse for this manager's behaviour.
