The clear winner here is Mrs StrasseLearning how travel works in these times, bonding further with my children then taking to urban when they go to bed. A decent plan.

Have not moved to the EU nor own a holiday home. Feel free to make up some more stuff though.
Only if you weren't paying attentionIt was the way you were talking about "your house" in Greece and not having a mortgage that made it sound like you'd suddenly upped sticks.
Empty shelves? That's nothing to do with EU. But Hispanic buying! What do you hope to achieve by posting empty shelves, sad touring musicians or whatnot? You are presumably grownups who understand that the UK has left the EU, so please explain what you think will happen as a result of you doing this.

If the Anti-Federalist League et al had stopped snivelling after the 1975 referendum we wouldn't be where we are.We are, life has moved on. Why are remainers still snivelling?
Because people are led to believe that constitutional tinkering with the political superstructure will effect positive change in their living standards/life chances which is, of course, convenient for those with real economic power. It’s going to continue to be a bit like Scotland where people bitch still about the referendum result of the Seventies to this day.
I agree with the OP. We should all just stop discussing politics altogether and put our trust in the officials we have elected to run the country.
