and try to use its a prank as a defence.
The art theft thing might have been funny if set up properly pity the judge didn't have a reaction video
. Getting jail for you tubing must be pretty low down the criminal tree.
Tempted to send the twats a smartphone in a cake so they can make "hilarious" in jail videos so get more jail time.

I made it to the first 'joke' and then bailed. If I walked up to a black man in the street and told him that 'joke' I would expect and deserve a slap. Thats not even remotely in the spirit of a prank, a humerous little trick that hurts no one. Why the fuck would you do that?

in many, many cases, i don't think the resulting punch is anything but justified. when someone is grossly racist to your face in a provocative manner, a stern talking to is just not going to do.
but also seeing those knifes/guns coming out, equally as
just a horrible video and imo they should be nicked for inciting violence, or somethign.

I think with THTV (and good pranking in general) there's an element of the surreal - the prankee is confused, not really insulted or threatened. The art is in setting up a bizarre but borderline believable situation.
These youtube types just seem to doing obvious things that will get an obvious reaction, in a particularly shitty way.
