I got a proper look at Carrie's arch nemesis the fox today as it was quite near the back door (so much for the Scoot). It's really a beautiful creature in great condition with a fabulous coat, and suspiciously well fed

His Majesty is quite fond of the new treats (he had completely gone off lickilix and was growing indifferent to dreamies so I thought I would try something else). They really smell though.

She was by the cat flap just now, contemplating whether she wanted to go out, but wisely decided not to!

I love that you have an office cat. I did try to adopt a stray as a Uni cat (when I worked in HEI) but ridiculous bureaucracy nixed it (E.g. “I’m allergic”, “Cats are full of fleas”, etc ) so eventually someone in the library adopted the wee soul. I just couldn’t believe how many people objected to the proposal of the collective care of an unwanted soul. Hard hearted bastards

Ours discovered snow this week, didn't go well. Today they are sitting out in torrential rain and wandering in like sponges on legs

I got the winter bedding out today and promptly lost both cats.

A while later, I found them, buried in the middle of it, warm and sleepy!
