Your daily cat and kitten news

Thanks LCL
Got metacam and special littler to collect her wee to see
And got to keep her in for 3 days which will be fun!
Vet concerned that her back right leg has something wrong and even said she may have been hit by a car as very reluctant for the vet to move it :(
She has been mostly fine, running around fast and playing etc so hopefully not, did think I saw her moving slightly awkward with that leg looking a bit stiff
and she's managed to get out already!

My housemate was generous enough to order some Dreamies for Lilith's birthday yesterday. They arrived while he was at work so I put them outside his door with all his other post/parcels as it was addressed to him. She recognised the yellow packaging and was examining the box trying to work out how to open it!

Clever Lilith!
Misty was out in the pouring rain for hours last night and early morning, worried she was confused about the cat flap as we locked it for a bit and tried to reprogramme to just let her in and out til Friday but didn't work so set it just to open inwards, came in about 3/4am in the end

I've been ill last couple of days and Kizzy curled up in contact with me on bed for hours, the floofy nurse :)

I once left some treats, in their sealed packet, out when I went away, so my neighbour could buy the affection of my former cat. That was a stupid idea, because she, the cat that is, ate through the packaging.

Big cat fight noises as I was coming out of the bathroom this morning so I rushed to open the back door ro find Ozzie puffed up in the middle of the garden and the white and black cat that we see around sometimes rushing out the end of the garden.

Gave an extra 'fuck off' from me.

There were lots of tufts of white fur on the ground so I think Ozzie came out on top.

6 month check up for my two at noon today. Which means Donut will be an absolute arsehole till 11.45am as he hates being kept in

Ta, yes very, she knows it! :D
Also very noisy and hasn't stopped miaowing for most of the night as not allowed out 'til Friday :( keeps trying the cat flap
Have had to be really careful letting Misty out of course!
Have often found that putting a bin or piece of furniture in front of the flap prevents repeated attempts at escape, the cat may have thought we'd lost our minds but at least it stopped the banging against the flap noises 😃

thanks will try that! needs to be open one way for Misty to get it, been leaving her out the hooman door

Had a call from vet saying they've analysed Kizzy's wee and said there is a high level of protein, white blood cells and sediment and want to give her antibiotics and more special litter to collect another sample, also said something about bladder lining cells and again possible trauma :/
Hope this can be sorted without an operation!!!
