Ah thank you. Making her chicken soup (channeling my inner Jewish grandmother) and giving Lil’ Bob the offcuts while I type so I think his dedication has been rewarded. He’s a very sensitive boy. I got some very bad news about my favourite cousin the other day, got a bit upset, went to bed and he never left my side all night. As far as we’re concerned, he’s a Prince among catsAwww he is so lovely, look at his happy sleepy little whiskery face

They're both in great health, which is the main thing, but I was a bit annoyed at having to wait half an hour for our booked appointment - they both got really stressed, bless them

Glad to hear it went OK but sorry that they got so stressed - just going in the carrier can be really horrible for them, let alone the strange and frightening environment of the vet clinic - I hope they are feeling better now.

Elsa is two years older than Indie and it was love at first sight. Both cats are bigger than the dog and - naturally - rule the house!

That’s so sweet! Sadly my cats detest each other and barely tolerate being in the same room. The terrier is mediator.

It's brilliant when your pets have a good relationship like that but I have also experienced the other side of things - Jakey and Sonic it was love at first sight, we got Jakey on his first birthday and Sonic was just a few months older and they just sniffed one another and started grooming each other (they came from the same breeder so I think Jakey just smelled of things that were comforting to Sonic when he was a kitten), Radar was OK with Sonic just about but never really got along well with Jakey so they avoided one another - it's why Radar was allowed in our bedroom and the others were not, so Radar could have a space that was solely his territory to relax. I always felt bad about getting Jakey for that reason, but it was such a boon for Sonic and Jakey's my only one left now, love him to bits.
chanel visiting my new flat... s/he is amazingly at ease "traveling" (it is only 19 mins walk in a carrier) and settled in very quickly, we might actually come to some kind of shared custody arrangement).
hadn't even considered it has a possibility before, was only thinking I could take her when ex was away out of country or whatever... but they enjoyed the first couple of visits so much!

This friendly fella introduced himself to us as we went to feed our friends’ cat Zippy this morning. Apparently it’s Zippy’s deadly rival from next door but a charming wee devil all the same
