Your daily cat and kitten news

It must've been a full night of sleeping last night, because he was a bit restless this morning. He sat outside a lot, but didn't have a proper sleep until at least midday.

Bernard generally hates his carrier. No surprises there. And he yowled the whole way over to the vet for his vaccinations. While there, we had them look at a weepy eye that cropped up over the weekend. He was so traumatised by this that when the carrier went up onto the table, he walked straight into it and kept quiet the whole way home. Poor poppet! He had a green nose from the dye used to check it wasn't a blocked tear duct, as well. It was just conjunctivitis and we have to rub some oil in for a few days.

This is Jocky. He is 6, and his last owner sadly died. Jocky spent 2 weeks in the wild fending for himself then 3 months in the clink at Cat Protection and is now very happily ensconced in our lil home.

He's really smart and very funny, loves to play games and works out all the food puzzles I make for him really quickly. He's huge compared to my little old lady (RIP Raz), and is a very comforting weight on my lap. His miaow sounds like Shane McGowan laughing 😄

He loves me singing the theme tune to Noddy, replacing Noddy with Jocky. And being called The Chinny King. Honest he does.

I am smitten 🥰🥰

Thanks polly :) I wouldn't normally go for a black and white but his cheeky little chin kept me going back and looking at his picture over and over again. And he is such a character, an absolute joy to play with.

Ryu has a bit of a Kitler moustache going on there haha :D

I wouldn't have either - my kids chose Ryu - but he's so soft and fat and loving, which seems to be a theme :D I'm so glad he's fitting in nicely and won't be in HMP for Christmas. You've skipped all the arsehole years too, six is a great age. I bet he's not destroying your tree.

He does not  It's a Groucho moustache. And if anyone is a murderous fascist lunatic it's his brother.

Yeh, it is a great age. Tree not up yet, not tested that yet haha.

If you say so :p

Leyton Cat Lady - I must thank you for your recommendation of Lidl cat food. Instant hit with Lil’ Bob who’s in there like swimwear. A great 3rd option for when they’re turning their noses up at either Whiskas or Aldi. Vic loves the Lidl cat treats too. Two happy chappies 😺😼
