Can we have the dash cam footage please?

My bezzer once drove into a boat being towed on the motorway. 😳

I fucking hate motorway driving so it’s unfortunate that my current job covers four counties. 😡

I think your friend was the wronged party, but the damage has been photoshopped to make him look bad.

If they had dashcam footage, why would they lie about the circumstances?

Looking to creat a narrative/vibe, so that when you see the footage you subconsciously 'fit' what you see around what you already 'know/believe' in order to mitigate the drivers culpability?

If the driver thinks they might get sacked/some other punishment, then every day that they kick that down the road is a victory.

That's about all I know. He went into the back of a lorry when it changed lanes at about 60 MPH on a motorway without indicating.
My friend was utterly convinced it was 100% the lorry drivers fault; I am not so convinced.

The M25 used to have 100% Cctv coverage, would imagine it still does. So if that is what happened it should be on at least one camera. Your friend would need to make a complaint to the rozzers of careless and inconsiderate driving against the lorry in order that they investigate the RTC. Which they may or may not do. If they do then the police collision investigation report will be available to their insurance company for a fee. I’m not sure if Highways release CCTV to insurance companies without a police investigation, but the insurance company would know.

I’m wondering why you care so much - was he driving your car?
No way. I was chatting with someone close to him last night and suggested that he might be be totally blameless. They went off on one; a retired solicitor as well!
Also, it helps illustrate the way insurers can duck a (fair) claim

Isn't every smart motorway supposed to have full CCTV coverage. ( I am not sure if it happened on a smart motorway.

In my experience this is only likely to make things worse. :D
