I was listening to the commentary of Anderson/Isner on 5 live in the car driving to London for 3 and a half hours and by the time I arrived it still wasn't close to finishing.
What an incredible match. It was like two boxers punching themselves to a standstill. As the old cliché goes, shame there had to be a loser.
Will it be Rafa or Novak in the final. Novak is slightly ahead at the moment however you can never ever count Rafa out.

One small step for me
Really pleased for Angie Kerber today - it's always good to see someone win their first Wimbledon, and for her to beat Serena (no matter she's maybe not back to her best yet) will mean a lot more to her than if she'd beaten anyone else. Totally deserved.

I wonder if Anderson can pull this one off. Both the semi's were epic matches. Novak had to dig deep because Rafa is a fucking beast. Kevin Anderson was also in beast mode to beat Fed and Isner. Both of the finalists have had to come through mentally and physically exhausting matches to get to the final. I wonder how much they'll have in reserve. I think Novak will win however I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson pulls off a shock. He has shown that he is definitely no pushover.
