Wonderful how there seem to be loads of offers on concessions that will be made to Scotland if there's a No vote that will be conveniently be forgotten if the vote goes against. You'd want any promises to be made in writing with actionable penalty clauses and witnessed by a great number of people.

YouGov has gone from -16 to +1 in a matter of days. trying to mobilise the no vote?

Not sure if I've misread you - and apologies if so - but are you suggesting that YouGov are doctoring their figures in an attempt to influence the outcome of the election?

This is what I was meaning before. The no campaign responds with more fear and threats. This time involving placing armed men outside Berwick.

This smacks of desperation, might even push the yes vote up (really could go either way). Still think the final few days will see no going back into the lead but they are truly fucking it up.

The plan, in the event of a no vote, is that people from all parts of Scottish society – rather than just politicians – would be invited to take part in a Scottish conference or convention that would decide on further large-scale transfers of power from London to Holyrood.

What a fucking joke. They are offering a chance to sit down with Jim Murphy and Douglas Alexander to 'discuss' Scotland's future?

yep total fear and desperation.

Miliband shrieking about border controls, after a Yes vote, in the Mail on Sunday tomorrow, too. English politicians just don't grasp that such bluster will do little more than drive up the Yes vote here.

Here's some more detail on this poll from yougov...

Quick question - how is this being counted? Does one vote swing it?

As a Welsh person living in England it's quite interesting watching how things are moving at the moment.

Interesting - it seems that a "senior cabinet minister" is going to be sent to Aberdeen on the fifteenth in order to rally support for the Union.

Wouldn't want the wrong sort of people to hear about that, would we? :)

Hell they might as well send all of them. Labour seem to be on an offensive, offensive. Why not drag all the Wastemonster MPs up here to make us all 'Think Again'.

Eric Joyce on the panicked "super devo max" plans being drawn up on the bag of a fag packet as we speak:

For now, though, I hope Murphy and Darling continue to do their best. One thing is for sure, though; the idea that, with 11 days to go, undecided Scots will trust a last-minute, super-duper-devo-plus offer from politicians who until very recently stood wholly opposed to such a notion is profoundly misguided. It is lunatic. It is baws.
