Well, the pancakes were a rockin success.

We had quite a bit of batter left over so I poured it all into the pan and we had one uber thick pancake to finish. More of a cake tbh but it still hit the spot with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup.

Had some savoury and sweet ones last night. My lovely new housemate made the savoury ones with fillings of mushroom, smoked salmon, onion, cream and white wine and some leftover bolognese she had from Sunday. Then for the sweet ones I did some with lemon & sugar and melted some dark chocolate down to have with strawberries.

I made American pancakes and I had mine with lemon and sugar, the foal had chocolate squeezy sauce. I froze loads of them and I've got some bacon and now I just need to get some maple syrup and we're going to have them at the weekend when we have friends to stay

We ran out of flour so some clown decided to make another batch using chick pea flower. Not only did they taste WRONG but I woke today to find them weighing heavily on my digestive system

Made savory panackes for the first time ever after reading this thread yesterday - decided on a simple mushroom sauteed in garlic filling - it was awesome.

Stuck with the traditional lemon and sugar for the sweet ones.
