Usual options in our house are:

- lemon & sugar,
- something with chocolate
- Golden Syrup (didn't have this foreign maple stuff in my day)

and for savoury I make a creamy mushroom thing, with cheese

I completely fucked them up last year - tried to make them in a very heavy, deep frying pan and measured my ingredients on cheapo scales that I later discovered completely lied. But this year we have a pan with a flip over lid thing for flipping pancakes (which I know is cheating, but it was a present) and some digital scales so I'm hoping for a return to form.

Not that it matters, but that's a crepe not a pancake. Traditional pancakes just use eggs, milk and flour, no added water or melted butter
