I just did a search on the Internet, and came across this thread, detailing the achievements of the Norwich Green Party in recent times;

I do think it's highly significant that the Norwich Green Party website paints the Norwich Green Party in a positive light and claims all kinds of achievements.

In a similar vein, the Tories are also great. As are the BNP (http://www.bnp dot org.uk/).

In fact, having utilised meltingpot's flawless method of assessment, I can state with the utmost confidence that all political parties are great. Even the Golden Dawn in Greece.

I was amused that two of their members turned up to the inaugural meeting of Left Unity here in Exeter to explain that we don't need to bother launching another party and should just vote green. Even the SWP didn't have that much brass neck.

Don't worry, I can take it. In my defence, this thread was knocked up pretty quickly this morning and I had a choice; go for quality (a couple of properly researched examples) or quantity (the party's own assessment of what they had achieved). I went for the latter.

I'm not an anything grad but even I know you should always value quality over quantity.

Froggy, I'm not taking this thread all that seriously. I realised it was going to bomb early on (almost as soon as I started it, in fact), and once people started making answers which were not in the professed spirit of the thing (and some of them were pretty good), I "went with the flow." I would have thought that was obvious from my second post above.

I'm sure there are Green achievements out there if people want to look for them, and I will of course be grateful if any are posted here.

I was challenged to (by Spiney and others), and I couldn't sensibly back down once he'd told me about the lib dem starting a similar thread. A matter of pride as much as anything else.
