Still musing on the possibilities of cooking curry...

I could actually do it with not much bother. However it would be a question of how many actually wanted to eat it! It isn't much problem to chuck the camp cooker and some basic ingredients in the car.

However it is even less effort to not bother at all - especially if no-one is that fussed.

If you genuinely want to/don't mind going for it, take citydream's advice and prepare in advance ... :)

I'd be REALLY up for some nice veggie curry if it's not too much of a hassle for you ...

<blagger mode :p :oops: :D >

Hmmm... premade curry... tupperware pots... cool bag. A big bag of basmati... Might be a good 'un as it goes.

Yeah alright. I'll do that. Should be able to make a fair few portions.

Blimey..all this curry/tombola/soft furnishing/tupperware talk makes me think I should seriously start getting organised...or be put to shame....especially considering I'm taking a small child with me...

Just bought bourbon, vodka and junk food. Still need an air mattress and my kagoul as I bought the wrong bloody size. If it doesn't arrive the good news is there will be room for 3 more people in the one I just bought should they forget their waterproofs.

I do have a cold but of course this will be gone far far away by friday-woohoo. Very excited now.:D  :D

Gin is the spirit of choice this summer apparently. I have normal vodka, a bit of that cranberry vodka and juice for mixers.

Mmmmm, biscuits.

Ooh yes.. drinks...

Now this is significant. However the thermos only keeps it cold for the first night... Maybe one flask of mojito and one flask of margherita...

Oooh, mojitos. I hadn't thought of that. Yummy.

Maybe I will just bring the full set up:

Stick the thermos flask in the freezer, get LOADS of ice bags prepared in advance. Then fill the flask with ice, squeeze as many limes as you can into it, couple of spoons of dark sugar a handful of mint and fill it up with rum. It should still be ice cold 10 hours later with any luck.

*fills up ice trays*

:D

I should hope that that pic^ demonstrates what we shall be walking into around midnight friday :D

Staggering into quite literally I spect ;)

Yer a bunch of weird spirits drinkers!

I'm told that some excellent local BEER will be supplied to the beer tent from Badger Brewery in Blandford, just down the road. Tanglefoot, quality ... :p

Be aware, by the way, that the official ;) rules ban your own alcohol from the main festival area (they say your own supplies are OK in the campsite though)

I always take a few cartons of frozen cranberry juice to festivals so i can have a ice cold sea breeze. Also had recently due to orange juice not yet defrosted slush puppy bucks fizz.....it was lush.
