I'll just camp somewhere near where you all end up ...

Glad you're there crustychick! :)

Although I have a vague memory of having seen you at Sunrise Celebration, so it's not really your first no? ;)

Aurora.. I'm not very experienced with little-people. Do two-year olds take much looking after?
No - they are easy. The take care of themselves..

;)

I will be having child withdrawl symptoms - being away from my three for a week - so will be happy for the company of any little people.

What time are people likely to be there? I am going to try and get on site for 5/6ish on the friday.

"As I said earlier me & Mrs Chintz and two ickkle chinzs are going ( just for the day on sat) any tips on how to recognize the Urban Massive, not a prolific poster on her as you can see but it would be nice to put faces to posts"

Well Dub is playing with the Editor in that cocktail lounge tent on friday and saturday nights from midnight onwards so I expect some of us will be in and out of there over the evening - you can stick your head in to meet a few of us :)

top of the field nearer the campervan end sounds grand to mee BB

Sorry if you've already said but, are you taking your niece then? Will you be soley responsible, or just helping out?

I'm just helping out my cousin, hopefully. She's started MCing already (the niece that is). We've got a pram and a fold-up cot, and several bags of baby-things so I think we should be sorted for removing paint from hair and bits of chips from noses.. I'm just wondering how much festi a two-year old can take without getting too tired...

We've got a flag!!

:)

Sparklefish and Magic Sam have a tent that cannot be missed. Post number 208...

We hope to get there around five ish.... if not before.

Dub & Sparklefish have my number, I have Zoras number, so maybe we can get a network going for anyone else, do you want my number Crustychick?

Getting more excited, although will not have bubba which can work two ways. If I am not around kids I am fine, I see them and want mine... But I shall be strong * and will think about being more organised for next time.

* for strong insert pissed/stoned/knackered or all three ;)

Sounds like you're well prepared and will be fine. :)
tbh, I find all that fresh air, running about in a field all day, sorts them out no end, they stay up late, but sleep really well.
<touches wood>
Anyway, the crucial thing is to have some help so you're not doing everything on your own. I've done that quite a few times in the past, and you can end up having quite a lonely festival.

It's also good for them to have little friends, so maybe it will be good if we end up camping nearby...although perhaps seperate from madamv ? Argh it's all getting complicated already...

Oh no, dont be daft. No probs, I will enjoy their company - honest!!:D

Kids at festivals are fine.

Non parents camping nearby can guard themselves against being awaken too early by all sorts of means ... and not just earplugs .... ;) :)

Have got my train ticket to Salisbury now ... :)

New map up on web site.

According to forum, you can take soft drinks into the main area.... ;)

Have some quiet activities too. Bring some pens and paper, perhaps some puzzles and bring the little one back to the tent every so often just to potter and chill out.

Forgot about your flag... should be easy enough to spot :D

madamv... what's a woowoo?

25mil peach schnapps (archers)
25mil vodka
50mil cranberry juice

put ice in a glasss. Then add archers and vodka, Finally fill the rest of the glass to the top with cranberry juice.

Yummy.

Sounds quite sweet, but might have to give one a go :)

I like the name: Woowoo

When I had a bar job in a nightclub in Glasgow someone asked me for a Woo-Woo and I thought they were taking the piss - same with Drambuie - I was going "no-one is going to call a drink drambooey ffs" until they pointed to the bottle on the shelf behind me.

I don't draw conclusions from drink names anymore :D

:( ouch, hope it clears up for the weekend!

The first lot to arrive should set up some sort of flag really :) everyone seems to be aiming for 5 ish though... could end up with 5 mini U75 camps :D

..but if we all aim for the top right hand side of the camping field, near the camper vans, we should at least be in the same area...ish..

That's true... I'm not thinking quite straight today
I know what a few people look like, and what some people's tents look like too :D
