I'm not back til Tuesday ...

I know.:( I work in a contact centre and the leave for august was booked up in april and I didn't know we were going then. I have begged and begged, I even asked for the morning off but they still said no.
Problem is I am a shit liar and I did not think it through. If I hadn't mentioned I was going away I could have had a doctors appointment/plumber visiting monday morning.

Packed most stuff now. The trouble with having a car is that you have no incentive to pack well and end up bringing all sorts of crap.

yep. I've normally either schlepped on public transport or been at the mercy of somebody else's generosity. So this time out (we've hired a car) i'm bringing everything, including my bloody suit :D

I'm packed! Apart from a few bits that magic sam will wash for me tomorrow I'm ready. I have too much stuff, but I have plenty of choice and loads of room in my tent.
I also have too much vodka. There may be trouble ahead.;)

I really wish I didn't have to work tomorrow, I am in holiday mode. Ready for a large drink and a spliff. I will have to settle for some squash and a marlboro light.:(

About to start packing ... :p :D

It's second nature to me now though after 22 years of going to
4,037 festivals, so packing is quick and easy and requires no extra thought -- just in case, I have a standard festie essentials list ... this includes TENT -- I forgot it on my similar two-festival tour of the South West last August ...
