It occurred to me the other day that I've done a fair few different jobs in my time, especially as a temp. Some friends of mine have been in the same job since leaving college. I know that I couldn't do that, I like variety!

I had to start earning money from the age of ten due to poverty in my family.
I used to do farm work, car washing and odd jobs.
I did a five year engineering apprentice from age 17, and still kept doing the farm work and odd jobs because of the shit pay.
After apprenticeship 2 years as machine tool setter operator in a small engineering sub contractors.(Still doing farmwork and off jobs)
Two years as the original self employed white van man.(Still doing farmwork and odd jobs)
Five years as a self employed long distance lorry driver. (Still doing farmwork and odd jobs)
Got married.
Went back into engineering retrained as CNC programmer/setter/operator. (Five years, still doing odd jobs and farm work)
Moved to Cornwall. Worked for firearms dealer/gunsmith for two years.
Numerous engineering jobs and lifeboat helper until I became disabled in November 1990.
