Cardiff and Swansea will both be about mid table in the championship, Cardiff perhaps about 9th, Swansea a few points and places behind in 13th. Cardiff may flirt with the play offs for a while, but ultimately another case of "close but no cigar". Swansea will be pleased enough to consolidate and take chunks out of a couple of the so called "big teams".

Wrexham couldn't have a better manager than Brian Little, who got Darlington out of the conference at the first time of asking in 1989-90. But it's a different league now, as dominated by money as any other.

I see Torquay winning it this time round with Stevenage, Cambridge, York, Oxford in the chasing pack- with maybe Barrow and Northwich as surprise outside play off hopefuls. I think Wrexham will do well to win a play off place in their first season in a very difficult league.

Cardiff

Championship: 4th
Carling Cup: 2nd round
FA Cup: 5th round

Swansea

Championship: 14th
Carling Cup: 2nd round
FA Cup: 5th round

Wrexham

Blue Square Premier: 8th
FA Cup: 1st round

Swansea

Championship: Above the relegation zone and Cardiff.

Cardiff

Championship: Below Swansea and preferably in the relegation zone.

Wrexham

Conference: Not sure, Playoffs maybe?

Wrexham couldn't have a better manager than Brian Little, who got Darlington out of the conference at the first time of asking in 1989-90.

oh yes they could, he's been a fairly crap manager since leaving Villa. Almost took us (Tranmere) down into the League 2 in his last season with us, even tho we'd been tipped for promotion by everyone. He is not missed.

Wrexham aren't a bad side tho, and could come close to going up, but wont.

Cardiff & Swansea will be lower-mid table sides, Cardiff probably going slightly higher, but only by a place or two, and both will be lucky to make it past round 4 of either cup

I don't agree- he did well at Hull City after Villa, and not bad at Stoke, his problem seems to have been that he never stays anywhere long enough.

Now he's a bit older and isn't linked with every managerial vacancy that comes up I think he'll stay at Wrexham but it'll take him a couple of years to get them out the Conference.

he made a good start with Hull, but couldn't keep it up over a whole season, that seems to have been his trouble since Villa. He had two good half seasons with us, but the other half of each he did crap. Sad, I was right chuffed when we signed him.

In fact he did- he was sidelined when the new chairman went for a "celebrity" manager in Jan Molby half way through the season; the sole reason why Hull failed to go up.

Cardiff

Promoted as Champions
FAC Winners
LC - Knocked out by someone like Arsenil early on, say 3rd round.

Swansea
Last but one relegation - I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they won't be THE worst.
FAC - 3rd Round
LC - 4th round

Wrexham
Have a horrible feeling they'll plummet even further dropping yet another division.

Cardiff - above Swansea.

(A very narrow minded opinion I know )

Swansea - below Cardiff.

Wrexham - Mid table obscurity will have to do.
