Round 2 of the chicken pasta dish from last night, was very nice and am looking forward to it tonight.
Bit of baguette with butter to go with.
I might have a glass of Merlot also, and a few squares of milk chocolate for afters.
Christ av been up since 2ish and can remember saying i would do a roast dinner today. To say i dont feel upto it is putting it mildly. Oh well ser what happens. For some reason i keep thinking of parsnips which is weird.
Oven will be on soon its all prepared just ready to boil the taties veg's in steamy things on top. Am having pork chop dads got 2 sausages with his. Hungry belly time.
A sort of Japanese take on chicken cacciatore. As with any meat dish, I have no idea if it will be perfect or an unmitigated disaster, but gotta learn through practice.
Small seafood platter, steak, oven chips and peas. Possibly pineapple in rum and sugar! But it’s 5pm and we are all eating biscuits and toffee popcorn and drinking wine so I’m not not sure how it’s going to end
Gammon, roast potatoes Vichy carrots, braised leeks, broad beans and parsley sauce, followed by Xmas Pudding. Only two of us tonight and we like Xmas Pud, but never have this for Christmas as son does not like it.
And a rather nice bottle of Red to wash it all down with.
Not had black bean sauce in ages, I need to get a new jar of black bean and garlic next time I go to the Chinese supermarket - I have put it on my list to remind me to get some. I particularly like chicken, mushrooms and green peppers in black bean sauce.
