What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Supermarket pizza sounds like a good idea.

I don't think the one I've got is going to be much cop, I just popped out to Iceland earlier as I had to go to the cashpoint so went to pick up a couple of pizzas for tea, and they've stopped doing some of the non own-brand frozen pizzas (hopefully just shrinking the range to make room for Xmas stuff rather than permanent), so I'm not feeling very enthusiastic about it tbh.
Grocery delivery is due for tomorrow so am looking forward to something better for tea tomorrow!

Yeah it was edible but not very good.

The base managed to be like cardboard underneath and on the edges, yet soggy just under the topping.
I managed to sublux my wrist cutting it into slices, ouch!
The topping was OK in all fairness but I did end up pulling the topping off and leaving the base on the last couple of slices.

Saturday so whatever is frozen, seems to be coated Chicken Breasts in a wrap with some odd sauces I picked up, lettuce and chili rice with cheese.
Then some real cream raspberry ripple, I love this stuff.

Also supermarket pizza here. I was cooking for the week as I'm travelling tomorrow. Roasted a chicken with the idea to have some tonight as a mini roast dinner and make a pie filling for another day. But because I was doing many things at once (an excuse I will stick to) daughter and I managed to eat all the crispy skin and all the limbs  Anyhoo. So there's a pie filling, small amount of roast chicken to go with the mac and cheese or sarnies, but we needed something extra for tonight.

I'm defrosting a chicken leg, which I plan to have with roast spuds, mushrooms, peas, carrots and gravy.
Maybe cabbage if we have any left over from last week, and maybe some stuffing if we've got a small packet mix in the cupboard.

Home made soup, done in the slow cooker. Butternut squash, leeks, potato, carrots etc. If it's bland I'll chuck some curry powder in there.

Apart from a McDonald on Saturday (for me) we’ve been absolutely hammering the veg of late, be it a onepot or tray bake or soup.

Baked this up y/day, there is a lack of green but added that (spinach) when serving.

Rainbow carrots, parsnip, bell peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoe, red onion, garlic, butter and kidney beans, chick peas.

We had it with baked cod fillets, thyme and cherry tomatoes + also had a little bit of broccoli & cauliflower rice on the side.
