Tonight was a quality tea I had a filling earlier so couldn't eat, and now it's too late to do anything proper so I had pate and biscuits, with Tesco cheese balls and chocolate

I had a healthy dinner with a ridiculous amount of vegetables and some sardines. Just to (kind of) make up for all the utter rubbish I've been eating lately.

I've perfected it.
Very spicy cottage pie with lots of cheese and breadcrumbs for a crispy topping.
Fucking lush - now part of my repertoire and adaptable for all palettes

Nut burgers were delicious. Boy made a tasty spicy salsa, topped them with cheese and melted it. Served in wholemeal baps. Yum.

I know what you mean - I wouldn't dare eat mushrooms I'd found in the wild as it is too easy to inadvertently pick poisonous ones.

I'm making a spicy sausage and chorizo pasta sauce tonight with onions, peppers, jalapenos, cherry tomatoes and courgettes. Linguini with it, I think. Tescos had chorizo on three for the price of two and sausages were £2.50 for a dozen so I've stocked up.

I've just googled mushroom foraging courses near me and there's a 1 day course coming up in a couple of weeks.
£75 though, I'm not sure I can find the cash this year

It's National Day here today and it's properly raining which makes me reluctant to go outside and see if the shops are open, so we're having stuff, cobbled together. I am soaking some azuki beans, we also have some sweet corn in the freezer, a couple of tins of chopped tomatoes, a bag of puffy tofu cubes, and six long green chillies. I'm sure it'll be lovely.

Man....stuff itself is bloody lovely, but when it's cobbled together well then it becomes bloody proper nice stuff

Either veggy stir fry with noodles or a thing I made up when I wanted chorizo hash but didn't have potatoes or chorizo. Its made of chopped up bacon
fried up with onions, peppers, chilli, garlic, ginger, smoked paprika, cumin, salt and pepper and a can of black beans. Served with or without egg depending on how hungry and if feeding one or two ppl. Topped with a bit of coriander, if I've got some in.

Anyway, fella's off to rehearsal tonight, so it's a quick tea of pesto pasta, sundried toms, black olives, and parmesan

I want to try these chickpea cutlets, with mushroom gravy. And sweet potatoes. I've no idea what 'wheat gluten' is though (how important can it be?....)
